The Story
Born in San Juan. Raised on salsa, merengue, bolero, disco, R&B, hip hop, reggaetón, and the endless rhythms of the Caribbean.
That range is the whole point. Ramon Rivera is a musician, songwriter, producer, and DJ who refuses to pick a single lane — because he was never raised in one. Under the banner of RR Infinite Music Labs, he writes in Spanish and produces across reggae, salsa, bolero, and electronic fusion, pulling from every rhythm that shaped him and engineering each record himself, from the first idea to the final master.
La historia de mi vida
His work is autobiographical at its core. An ongoing memoir series tells the story of his origins, his late mother, and a life shaped by both loss and relentless creativity. That story runs through the music — from the tribute written for his mother across four languages, to La Razón de la Vida, the philosophical meditation on memory and mortality that anchors the whole catalog.
Two islands, one sound
Through family, Ramon connected with a Jamaican brother in music — and from that friendship came Islas Unidas, a fusion of Spanish-language reggae and salsa that bridges Puerto Rico and Kingston. He built it before the industry had a name for the wave. That is the pattern: get to the sound first, own it completely.
Engineering the future of music
RRIML is not just a name — it is a philosophy. Sound. Engineering. Technology. Infinity. Ramon works at the intersection of Caribbean tradition and modern production tools, building a catalog with one signature and one owner. A legacy, one song at a time.
